A+E Networks launches on Roku boxes

A+E Networks has launched apps for its A&E, History and Lifetime networks on Roku internet TV boxes in the US.

Viewers will be able to watch full programmes and movies, as well as show clips, through the apps, which are available on Roku players including Roku 3, Roku 2, Roku LT, Roku HD and the Roku Streaming Stick.

“The deal with Roku is another important step for us to ensure the continued expansion of our content across multiple platforms that our audiences want to see our content on,” said Dan Suratt, executive vice-president, digital media and business development, A+E Networks.

The firm recently launched TV Everywhere apps for iOS and Android devices, as well as the Kindle Fire HD and Xbox 360 games console platforms.
