Deutsche Telekom strikes strategic partnership with Twitter

Deutsche Telekom has struck a wide-ranging partnership agreement with Twitter to develop an advanced user experience that will benefit both parties.

Twitter will create a dedicated user experience for Deutsche Telekom devices, integrating its functionality with the home-screen.

Deutsche Telekom will be a preferred partner for Twitter in marketing, advertising and customer service opportunities. The partnership will initially cover Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, Greece and Croatia.

The telco will begin rolling out the new Twitter experience on selected Android smartphones next year.
