Numericable absorbs Valvision

Cable operator Numericable is to absorb Valvision, a local cable operator with networks in Dole and Audincourt in the Franche-Comté region of eastern France.

Numericable already supplies services on the Valvision network and the fusion of the two, which will see Valvision’s ownership transferred to Numericable, will be retroactively dated to January 1 2013.

Numericable said the reorganization was in response to a need to simplify the company’s legal and accounting status and that the integration would deliver synergies to the group.
