Sky extends Now TV box distribution, bundles with content passes

BSkyB’s Now TV OTT boxes are now available in Argos and Currys PC World stores across the UK, with John Lewis to begin supplying the devices in the coming weeks. 

In addition Sky has bundled the Now TV box with content passes for the first time, enabling customers to choose from either a Sky Sports Day Pass or three months Sky Movies Pass at Now TV retail stands in shopping centres.

A Now TV Box with a Sky Sports Day Pass will be available for £14.99 (€17.69), providing unlimited access to all six Sky Sports channels for 24 hours. A Now TV Box and a three months Sky Movies Pass will be available for £24.99.

Other services available via the Now TV box include Sky News, BBC iPlayer and the BBC News app, Demand 5, Spotfiy, Facebook and Flickr.

Sky said it planned to add further entertainment channels, including some third-party channels, by the end of this year.
