ProSiebenSat.1 set to add €1 billion to top line by 2018
German commercial broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 expects to add €1 billion to its top line by 2018, with digital and adjacent revenues contributing around 30% of total revenue by that date.
At its Capital Markets Day in Munich, ProSiebenSat.1’s management also said that it was raising its 2015 growth target to €800 million, up €200 million on the previous target, giving total revenues of €2.851 billion.
ProSiebenSat.1 plans to increase recurring EBITDA on average by a mid-single-digit percentage every year until 2018 as well as to achieve an above-average increase in underlying net income.
ProSiebenSat.1 confirmed its 2013 outlook. The company also confirmed its policy of distributing an annual dividend of between 80% and 90% of underlying net income.
Thomas Ebeling, CEO of ProSiebenSat.1 Media said: “We are one of few companies in the media sector that clearly communicates its multi-year targets and thus demonstrates its strategy of increasing shareholder value. We are also setting ourselves ambitious targets for the future. By 2018, we want to generate additional revenues of €1 billion compared to 2012.”
