RCS & RDS offering 500Mbps and 1Gbps internet

Romanian cable operator RCS & RDS is to offer 500Mbps and 1Gbps internet services. 

The operator is offering Net Digi 500, including 500Mbps internet, for RON49 (€11) and Net Digi 1000, with 1Gbps internet access, for RON59.

RCS & RDS said the high-speed offerings would be available in over 150 urban centres across the country as well as in outlying areas.

Valentin Popoviciu, development director at RCS & RDS, said that the latest offerings were targeted at future users and their needs, delivering data at 10 times the speed previously available.
