Technicolor extends DirecTV set-top deal

French technology company Technicolor has signed a three-year extension to its deal with US satellite TV operator DirecTV.         

Under the agreement, Technicolor will continue to develop and offer HD set-top boxes and home video services for DirecTV – a firm it has partnered with for the past 20 years.
