Lattelecom launching 1Gbps internet

Lattelecom is to launch a 1Gbps internet service in October that will be available to have of Latvia’s households.

The telco is to double the speed of those that take the current 500Mbps service at no extra cost.

Lattelecom said the offering was targeted at households with multiple computers and TVs. Other offerings will also be increased with the basic 50mbps service doubling to 100Mbps and the 100Mbps service increasing to 250Mbps.
