MOG to present speech recognition at IBC
Digital video-ingest and media-file technology firm MOG is due to debut a speech recognition capability for its mxfSPEEDRAIL product line at IBC.
This will feature will be available for all mxfSPEEDRAIL models and enable automatic extraction of audio features during the ingest process, performing speech-to-text conversion and providing a tagging file aligned with the clip timecode, said MOG.
“This is a huge boon for media traceability, as it simplifies logging and takes searching to another level by automatically finding the timecode when a certain word,” said MOG.
The company will also display improvements to the mxfSPEEDRAIL Centralised Ingest Solution at the event, including new support for JVC and Canon input formats, as well as the mxfSPEEDRAIL Xpress, a “mix’n’match solution” that comprises all the mxfSPEEDRAIL Centralised Ingest Solution capabilities.
