Cyfrowy Polsat TV makes Multiroom gains

Cyfrowy Polsat said that pay TV subscriber numbers remained flat year-on-year in Q2 at 3.545 million, but said it almost doubled its number of Multiroom subscribers.

The Polish pay TV provider said that Multiroom subscribers numbered around 573,000, roughly 16% of the base. Churn rate remained stable at around 8.8% for the 12 months ended June 30.

Average monthly users for Cyfrowy Polsat’s OTT service IPLA during the first six months of 2013 was 3.8 million across PC, mobile devices, smart TVs, set-top boxes and game consoles.
