Telenet names new finance chief

Belgian cable operator Telenet has named Birgit Conix as chief financial officer, reporting to CEO John Porter. 

Conix is currently regional head of finance for Heineken’s western European organisation at its Amsterdam headquarters.

Porter said: “We are delighted to have found a highly qualified and experienced CFO and seasoned executive. Birgit’s strategic vision and her strong leadership skills make her the ideal candidate to head our finance department going forward. She is a collaborative and engaging leader. I am looking forward to working with Birgit to continue to ensure Telenet’s future.”
