ThinkAnalytics appoints chief technical advisor

Multiplatform TV search and recommendation firm ThinkAnalytics has appointed former Canoe Ventures, Thomson and Canal+ executive Christy Martin as chief technical advisor.

Martin will work with service provider customers on solutions architecture and system integration work, and will also advise on product strategy. She will report to Peter Docherty, ThinkAnalytics’ founder and chief technology officer.

Martin brings 20 years of experience to the role. She founded technology services firm iBox Systems and previously worked as principal architect and vice-president of solutions engineering for Canoe Ventures, as vice-president of strategy and technology at Thomson (now Technicolor) and as chief architect at Canal+ Technologies.

Christy’s expertise in architecting and deploying interactive media solutions will help us as we continue to deliver robust multiplatform recommendations to service providers around the world that take advantage of the latest in voice and other emerging navigation technologies,” said Docherty.
