DStv replaces ESPN with SuperSport 9

MultiChoice-owned South African pay TV provider DStv has added sports channel SuperSport 9 to its line-up to replace ESPN, which has ceased broadcasts outside the US.

SuperSport 9 will feature a range of US sports previously carried on ESPN, including live college basketball as well as football and boing. It will also offer EFC Fight Nights and action from African domestic football leagues.

The channel will be available in the DStv Compact, Extra and Premium packages.
