ESPN channels go off air

ESPN Classic and ESPN America have gone off air outside the US and the UK from today, following ESPN’s decision to scale down its international activities.

BT acquired ESPN’s UK and Ireland business in February ahead of the launch of BT Sports. ESPN said at the time it would wind down archive channel ESPN Classic and its on-UK ESPN America TV businesses.
