T-Hrvatski Telekom TV customers climb by 8%

Deutsche Telekom-owned Croatian telco T-Hrvatski Telekom recorded an 8% year-on-year increase in TV customers, counting 353,232 at the end of the June 30 quarter. 

Announcing its half year results, T-Hrvatski Telekom said the Q2 figure was an increase of 1.5% compared the first quarter of 2013, while in its business unit, TV customers also grew 6.2% year-on-year and 0.6% sequentially to 21,062 customers.

Overall the firm recorded revenues of €3.435 million in the first half of the year, down 5.9% year-on-year, while net profit fell by 29.4% to €75 million.

“Our business performance in the first half showed some resilience and we maintain a leading position in the market despite the constant pressure of a challenging operating environment,” said CEO Ivica Mudrinić.
