NBC News renews broadcast deal with Civolution

NBC News has signed a renewed multi-year contract with TV technology firm Civolution to use its global broadcast intelligence solution, Teletrax.

NBC News will use Teletrax to track the use of its news – both pre-recorded and live – by the NBC affiliates, US domestic and international channel clients, Civolution said.

“With our growing video output and increased reach, we felt a growing need to integrate Teletrax’s reporting into all our production and distribution workflow to allow us to produce the most relevant news content possible to provide for our network of affiliates,” said Bob Horner, President, NBC News Channel. He added that NBC News first used Teletrax back in 2002.
