KIT Digital names new OVP general manager

Over-the-top TV technology specialist KIT Digital has named former asset management business TradeWings president Mark Portu as global general manager, online video platforms.

“Mark’s appointment brings vast experience in technology and entrepreneurship to KIT digital and our evolving leadership team. He will play an instrumental role in helping us grow our market share in online video platforms (OVP) and focus our capabilities in professional services,” said interim CEO Peter Heiland.

Separately, KIT Digital has named Chuck Ebbets as director of product management for the OVP product line, focusing his attention on KIT Cloud related technologies.
