NHK World launches on Virgin Media

NHK World, the international English-language news channel of Japanese public broadcaster NHK, has launched on Virgin Media in the UK. 

The network is now available to subscribers of Virgin’s top-tier XL TV subscription package on channel slot 625 of the EPG.

NHK World, which also airs entertainment shows and focuses on Japan and Asia, is already available in the UK through BskyB.
