Ziggo completes Esprit acquisition

Dutch cable operator Ziggo has completed the acquisition of business services telco Esprit Telecom following approval by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).

According to Ziggo, the acquisition will help it expand its services for the business market. Esprit is active in the small and medium enterprise market in the Netherlands. The acquisition also includes Zoranet, an information and communication technology specialist that focuses on the retail sector.
