TV4 Group secures long-term deal for Swedish football

Swiss pay and free TV broadcaster TV4 Group has struck a deal with Svensk Elitfotboll (SEF) to secure rights to the country’s Allsvenskan and Superettan football tournaments for the 2016-19 seasons.

Pay TV platform C More will remain the home of the Allsvenskan competition while TV4 Sport will broadcast Superrettan games.

Johan Kleberg, CEO of C More, said that the partnership would allow TV4 Group to continue its investment in Swedish football over the coming years.
