Makedonski Telekom sees strong growth in TV base

Deutsche Telekom-owned Macedonian telco Makedonski Telekom now has over 70,000 customers to its MaxTV service, having grown its base last year by 66% to end December with 66,541 TV customers.

Makedonski Telekom said that 11.5% of MaxTV customers currently received the service via its state-of-the-art fibre network.

As a promotional offer, the telco is making its HBO and Max Sport Plus packages available free of charge for one month to subscribers that take a 3 Max, 2 Max or Family Max package. The offer is open to customers to activate the packages up to the end of March.

Makedonski Telekom is also adding new channels 24Kitchen, the English version of news channel France 24, Hayat TV, Fox, Travel Channel HD and Moto Sport HD to its line-up.
