MTS increases HD offering

Russian service provider MTS is to increase the number of HD channels it offer to 18.

Half the channels will be included in MTS’s base package. International channels to be added to be base packe include Sport 1 HD, Fox HD, National Geographic HD and National Geographic Wild HD, while Discovery HD Showcase, Animal Planet HD and MTV Live HD are among the channels to join the operator’s HD pack.
