Com Hem hires Virgin Media’s Gunatillaka

Swedish cable operator Com Hem has named former Virgin Media exec Asanga Gunatillaka as its new products director.

Gunatillaka, who was responsible for developing Virgin Media’s pay TV activities, will be in charge of new product development across Com Hem’s entire portfolio of TV, broadband and telephony offerings.

Prior to joining Virgin Media, Gunatillaka worked on telecom investment and integration strategies with consulting firm Accenture.
