France Telecom to become Orange

France Telecom is planning officially to change its name to Orange in July.

Executive director Xavier Couture and branding chief Jean-Louis Rondeau will present the operator’s plans to employee organisations on February 13 ahead of planned approval by the company’s annual meeting on May 28 and implementation of the name change on July 1. France Telecom already uses the Orange brand for its broadband, TV and phone services.
