Multimedia Polska reduces contract lengths as law comes into force

Polish service providers are being forced to reduce the maximum duration of contracts as a result of new legislation.

Cable operator Multimedia Polska has reduced the maximum length of its customer contracts from 36 to 24 months. The operator is also stopping marketing its 18-month contracts, which will be replaced by annual contracts.
The new rules will only apply to new contracts.
