Dormal leaves Numericable, takes role with OTT venture

Pascal Dormal has formally left his position as CEO of cable operator Numericable in Belgium and Luxembourg after six years to focus on developing medium-sized companies.

In a note marking his departure, Dormal said he was currently involved in helping OTT video specialist Weepee achieve its ambitions to grow and become a market leader.

Weepee New Media Ventures, a spin-off of internet telephony specialist Weepee Telecom, will deliver technology solutions including ingest, hosting and streaming, live internet broadcast and security to OTT service providers as well as providing a white-label OTT platform, including content acquisition.
