Magyar Telecom appoints CTO

Hungarian telco Magyar Telecom has appointed Walter Goldenits as chief technology and IT officer.

His role will cover all network development and operations activities, IT architecture, development and operations services, technology strategy as well as wholesale activities. Goldenits will also become a member of Magyar Telekom’s management committee.

Goldenits will join from A1 Telekom Austria, where he is chief technology officer, taking up his new position on January 1.
