Muslim TV launches Freeview bouquet
UK-based content aggregator Vision247 has launched a package of channels from Muslim TV on the UK’s Freeview network.
The bouquet of five channels, including Al Majd Holy Qur’an, Al Majd Al Hadith al Nabawi, Al Nas TV, Iqraa English and Iqraa Arabic, is available via Vision247’s broadband-delivered Vision TV Network.
Muslim TV, which is also available via Roku media streaming devices, costs £4.99 (€6) per month but new subscribers will get six months’ access for half price.
John Mills, CEO of Vision247, said: “Muslim TV provides any UK viewer with a range of simple ways to watch the latest broadcasts live from the Middle East in the comfort of their home. For the UK’s three million Muslims, it allows them to bring their families together to be closer to their faith. Muslim TV also gives everybody, including non-Arabic speakers, a very accessible window into a rich, vibrant culture.”
