Disney to debut SVOD service with Zon

Disney is launching its first SVOD movie service in Europe with Portuguese cable operator Zon Multimedia.

Zon said it will add the Disney Movies on Demand service to its platform from November. The service will offer a catalogue of movies from Disney and Pixar, with launch titles to include Ratatouille, Pirates of the Caribbean and Enchanted.

This will mark the first time Disney has launched a movie on-demand service in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
