KPN makes online TV service available on smartphones

Dutch telco KPN is making its online TV service available on smartphones within subscribers’ households. The service is available to iPhone users from today, with Android phones to follow on August 6.

The telco has also made UK channels BBC 1 and BBC 2 available via the service and will add the iTV online service on the iPad and Android tablets in the coming weeks.

KPN last year made live TV services available on tablets and laptops. The service now includes 22 channels.
