Orange sees solid TV growth

Orange had 5.5 million digital TV subscribers across Europe at the end of June, up 19.7%, or 908,000 subscribers, over the course of the last year.

In France, Orange’s TV base grew by 20.7% to 4.703 million, while its overall fixed broadband base grew by 4% to reach 9.749 million. First-half revenues from home communications services including voice fell by 4.5% to €6.2 billion.

In Poland, Orange had 677,000 IPTV and satellite TV customers at the end of the period, up 14.2% year-on-year.
