Portugal Telecom and Impresa develop interactive channel

Portugal Telecom and media company Impresa are jointly launching a new interactive news channel that will be available to PT’s Meo pay TV customers.

The service, called SIC Notícias Interativa, will launch by the end of the year and will be accessible via the red button. It will offer exclusive content covering entertainment, sport and culture. The two parties have also agreed to develop 33 multiplatform apps relating to Impresa’s content.
