Levy leaves Vivendi
Jean-Bernard Levy has left his role as CEO of Vivendi, the media giant that owns pay TV operator Canal Plus.
A company statement said Levy had left “following a divergence of views on the strategic development of the group”. It is understood that shareholders have been keen to restructure the company, possibly splitting its businesses, that include struggling telco SFR, Universal Music Group, Maroc Telecom and Activision Blizzard.
Levy, who was with Vivendi for a decade, has been replaced by general counsel Jean-François Dubos.
