Multimedia Polska issues bonds to fund expansion

Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has issued five-year bonds worth PLN250 million (€58 million).

Funds raised from the bond issue will be used to refinance existing debts and for investment purposed, the operator said. Approximately PLN180 million will be used to repay bank loans with the remainder used to fund mid-sized acquisitions.

The bonds have been acquired by investors including TF1, OFE and various banks.
