Broadpeak to introduce CDN solutions
Broadpeak (Stand R34) will use ANGA to demonstrate its latest content delivery and video network management solutions, designed for IP networks, including DOCSIS cable networks. The company said it will introduce a new product designed to streamline an operator’s content delivery network.
OperatorCDN is a solution that enables service providers to manage a CDN on their own networks. Operating a wholesale content delivery network through the operatorCDN allows them to offer a CDN service to local content owners, who can then negotiate the price directly with service providers. Broadpeak says its solution generates new revenue streams for operators carrying a growing share of local content.
Broadpeak will also showcase +screensCDN, a series of streaming solutions that manage bandwidth and storage usage and increase quality of experience. The company will display its BkM100 CDN Mediator, which models network topology and provisions video POP according to content popularity, in order to optimise backbone bandwidth usage. Visitors can see a demonstration of the Broadpeak BkS100 TS streaming servers, and the BkS200 and BkS300 multiformat streaming servers, which provide optimised content delivery to PCs, smartphones, and tablets.
Broadpeak said it also plans to showcase a new tool that it says will enable operators to access key information located in the video streaming servers, providing the operator’s support team with critical system monitoring information, the operations department with capacity planning details and the marketing department with the analytical results needed for building an effective marketing campaign.
