Khakassia begins migration to DVB-T2
The Republic of Khakassia in south-central Siberia has begun to migrate from DVB-T to DVB-T2-based digital-terrestrial broadcasting, according to local reports.
Khakassia has already begun DVB-T2 transmissions in daytime hours in the capital Abakan ahead of migration in Sayanogorsk, Cheryomushki and other cities. The Russian Federation has mandated a migration to DVB-T2 across the country by the end of this year.
