EchoStar launches ‘slimmest’ DVR

TV technology provider EchoStar has launched what it claims is the world’s slimmest digital TV recorder for the UK’s Freeview digital-terrestrial service. The Ultra Slim Box/HDT-610R comes in a 14mm aluminium chassis and is available from today.
The Freeview Plus HD device includes a 500GB hard drive for up to 300 hours of recording, a twin tuner and an HDMI connection, as well as internet connectivity.
