Portugal moves forward with digital switchover
Portugal yesterday shut down analogue TV services in regions covering about 1.9 million people or 730,000 households.
Households in the regions affected are in fact continuing to receive signals from the Monte da Virgem, Montejunto, Marão and Lousã transmitters as these feed repeaters located in areas of the country that have yet to complete the switchover process.
