YahSat 1B launched

The YahSat 1B satellite was successfully launched from Baikonur onboard a Proton-M launcher on Monday night.
The satellite, owned by UAE-based YahSat, which includes a Ka-band payload, will provide services to customers in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and south-western Asia. YahSat 1A was launched last year from French Guiana onboard an Ariane 5 rocket.
