Polsat launches music streaming platform
Polish pay TV operator Cyfrowy Polsat has launched an online music service offering over one million tracks from Sony Music and Universal Music.
The service, called Muzo.pl, gives users access to 20 hours of music free of charge. For PLN9 (€2.15) per month users can stream an unlimited amount of music to their computer. A premium option, called MuzoGo, gives users unlimited access to music via computers and mobile devices, and includes an offline option giving access to playlists without requiring an internet connection.
Polsat said it was in talks with other labels, including EMI and Warner and hopes to offer around five million tracks in the future.
