BT Vision to offer FX

News Corp-owned general entertainment channel FX will be available as a linear channel on UK IPTV service BT Vision after the two companies struck a carriage deal. 
The move means that FX UK will be the fourth linear channel to sign up to the service in the last month.

Subscribers to BT Vision will now be able to watch series including The Walking Dead, Falling Skies, Dexter and True Blood live as well as via BT Vision’s seven-day video-on-demand service.

Jason Thorp, executive vice president, content, Europe and managing director, UK and Africa, Fox International Channels, said: “We are delighted to give BT’s customers the chance to enjoy FX’s stellar line-up of first run exclusive content. Shows such as The Walking Dead, NCIS, Family Guy and Eastbound & Down have seen the channel’s performance soar in recent months with over eight million viewers tuning in across March.”
