Vimpelcom reports IPTV subscriber numbers

Russian service provider Vimpelcom ended 2011 with a total of 570,000 active IPTV subscribers. The company offers TV services under the Beeline TV brand in 34 cities.

Vimpelcom increased its broadband subscriber base by 46% year-on-year, ending 2011 with 2.1 million subs.

In the fourth quarter, the company posted revenues of RUB71 billion (€1.85 billion), up 10% year-on-year with double-digit revenue growth from mobile and fixed broadband services.
