Netstream using Harmonic for IPTV headend

Swiss IPTV wholesaler Netstream is using Harmonic’s encoding and transcoding products for its IPTV headend platform.

Harmonic’s Swiss distributor Adrenio installed Harmonic’s Electra 8000 universal SD/HD MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC encoders, ProStream 1000 stream processors with ACE transcoders, and the NMX digital service manager. Netstream provides IPTV services on a wholesale basis to Swiss telcos.
