Rostelecom weighs NTK deal

Russia’s Rostelecom is considering buying the stake it does not already own in pay TV operator National Telecommunications (NTK).

The service provider bought into NTK last year and will decide in the next week whether to move for the 28% that it does not already own, according to Russian press. A deal is expected to cost Rostelecom about €350 million if it can be agreed with remaining shareholders Gazprombank and VTB Capital.
