Cyfrowy Polsat launches PC VOD service

Polish pay TV operator Cyfrowy Polsat is making its video-on-demand service available via PCs as well as TVs.

The VOD Domowa Wypożyczalnia service to PCs will offer about 900 titles and is being provided in partnership with Polsat-owned internet TV service ipla.

To promote the service, Cyfrowy Polsat is offering a number of titles for PLN0.01, including Super 8, Transmformers 3 and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. VOD titles normally cost between PLN4.50-8 (€1.07-1.90).
