CME’s Voyo launches on Samsung TVs
Pan-CEE broadcast group CME has inked a deal with Samsung to make the Voyo catch-up service available on Samsung connected TVs.
The deal means that consumers buying the relevant TV set will be able to access a raft of paid-for content from Voyo, the subscription and transaction-based VOD service that CME has rolled out in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. The Voyo application will launch on Samsung TVs across these countries in the second quarter.
“We are excited to bring CME’s Voyo service onto Samsung Smart TVs. Voyo is a perfect demonstration of how we meet the growing demand for high quality local video services,” said Dan Saunders, director of content services, Samsung Electronics Europe.
