Eurosport extends Grand Slam tennis deals

Pay TV channel Eurosport has extended its deals to provide coverage of the French and US Open tennis championships.

Brokered by MP & Silva, the French Open deal secures coverage of the championship on Eurosport for three years, from 2012-14. The US Open agreement, through IMG Media, will see the US grand slam on Eurosport to 2017.

The renewed deals for both events cover live pan-European rights, across all platforms. The events will be covered on TV channels Eurosport and Eurosport 2, on PC and mobile via Eurosport Player. Subscribers to Eurosport Player will also have access to a live multi-court service.
