New iPad app from Sky Sports News

British pay broadcaster Sky Sports News has launched a new app for the Apple iPad that allows customers to watch live and on-demand content directly through their tablets.

The channel previously launched an app last year that allowed subscribers to watch content through a separate mobile application, but this can now be done directly through one application. The app is free for Sky Sports subscribers. 
“We aim to be the ultimate sports news service for our customers, and thanks to this new app we can provide them with the latest sports news and in-depth coverage, wherever they happen to be,” said Andy Cairns, executive editor, Sky Sports News.
