KATV1 to launch 3D TV in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan cable operator KATV1 has begun trialing 3D TV services ahead of a planned launch in 2012, according to local reports.

Company spokesman Husein Husein-Zade said that the 3D service, which is currently in beta-testing, would be offered as part of one of the operator’s existing packages.
