VimpelCom launches internet in 100th city
Russian quad-play operator VimpelCom has extended its Beeline fixed internet service to its 100th city – Vologda in north-western Russia.
Beeline internet should be made available to 20% of homes in the city by the end of the year, according to VimpelCom. The operator currently provides fibre-to-the-building services, delivering speeds of up to 100Mbps, to about 100,000 users out of a total 1.833 million subscribers.
